Kathy Pawlusiewicz, DDS

Dr. Pawlusiewicz joined Prospect Dental in 2003 as an associate doctor and rapidly advanced to a role of clinic director.  After taking over the practice, she has modernized the clinic's equipment, and recently expanded it to the state-of -the-art facility in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Kathy graduated pre-dental studies at Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor degree in Biology, and completed graduate dental studies at University of Illinois with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).  She continues her post-graduate dental education in general and cosmetic dentistry and is currently working towards the accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Pawlusiewicz sees patients with an array of general dental problems, but excels in cosmetic procedures such as veneers (Lumineers®), implant restoration, crown and bridge, and others.  She has introduced multiple cosmetic procedures to the array of services the clinic offers, such as the acclaimed ZOOM2 whitening system; all this to help patients achieve the most beautiful and most satisfactory smile.  Dr. Pawlusiewicz also enjoys working with kids. 

Iwona Iwaszczyszyn, DDS

Dr. Iwaszczyszyn joined Prospect Dental in 2004.  Since that time she has significantly impacted our clinic through caring, professional and superb approach to practice of dentistry.

Dr. Iwona completed dental school at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, with a doctorate and then post-doctorate specialty-degree in general dentistry; she then continued her education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.  She has taken numerous post-graduate courses in General and Cosmetic dentistry, continually improving her skills.  Dr. Iwaszczyszyn practices family dentistry, treating all cases related to general dental ailments, but also stands out in her approach to aesthetic dentistry.  She appreciates the importance of healthy, beautiful smile and its impact on self-confidence and overall well-being of the patient. 

Dr. Iwaszczyszyn has great experience in all facets of general and cosmetic dentistry, including, but not limited to crowns, bridges, dentures, fillings, lumineers, and implant restoration.

Alicia Haughey, RDH

Alicia received her degree in Applied Science and Certificate in Dental Hygiene in 2002 from William Rainey Harper College. She also received certification in delivering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Alicia has been working part-time in practices of general & implant dentistry and periodontics. She stays up to date with new technology with many continuing education seminars. Alicia has joined Prospect Dental in 2008 and has been a great addition to our practice.

Her primary duties include cleaning and polishing teeth, instructing patients in good oral hygiene habits and providing other preventative dental care.
